Jennifer Ostertag is an associate with McNicholas & McNicholas LLP, Los Angeles, California.  She practices in all areas of civil litigation,
including products liability, medical malpractice, employment, and
catastrophic injury.

Jennifer received her bachelor of arts degree from Loyola Marymount University. She is a graduate of Loyola Law School. Prior to joining McNicholas & McNicholas, LLP, Jennifer served as associate general counsel for a top internet search engine at the peak of the technology explosion.

Jennifer is admitted to practice before the California State Courts and the Central District of the United States District Court. She is a member of Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, Consumer Attorneys of California, Los Angeles County Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.

In 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011, Jennifer was recognized by her peers as one of the top lawyers under the age of forty in Southern California as listed on the Rising Stars list by Southern California Super Lawyers.  This distinct honor is only bestowed on 2.5% of practicing attorneys.

Some of the settlements and verdicts that Jennifer has obtained include: Van Laningham vs. Van Wormer, Inc. et al., 2007, $3.3M jury verdict against owners of a Mexican hotel chain for breach of an exclusive booking contract; $1.125M settlement for a generator technician who sustained a brain injury as a result of discrimination based on his national origin; $1.675M settlement for construction worker who sustained a spinal crush injury from a falling mock-up wall.
