Coming from a family of first responders and Los Angeles native, Vanessa Hernandez proudly represents California law enforcement officers, firefighters and first responders in cases of on-the-job discrimination, retaliation and other mistreatment. Being fluent in Spanish, she connects with the firm’s clients who prefer to speak in their native language.

During law school, Ms. Hernandez interned for the General Public Practice and Indian Law Clinic. She provided civil and misdemeanor criminal services to Kalispel Tribe members and residents of Spokane County, Washington.

Coming from a first responder family, including members of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Los Angeles Police Department, and various other agencies, she has distinct insight into the issues first responders face in the workplace. Outside of her legal career, she enjoys watching the Dodgers, volunteering in her community and hiking.
