McNicholas & McNicholas UFLAC Education Scholarship
McNicholas & McNicholas, LLP is funding 4 scholarships throughout 2026 – $12,500 each – for children of United Firefighters of Los Angeles City (UFLAC) members. McNicholas & McNicholas believes that education is the key to personal prosperity and the prosperity of society. Partner Matthew McNicholas was fortunate enough to start his career without student debt, allowing him to start from day one as a contingency fee lawyer representing injured and wronged plaintiffs. This path led to his first LAPD employment case in the late 1990s, evolving into representing hundreds of firefighters, police officers and first responders across California.
The McNicholas family understands how expensive higher education can be for working families. That’s why McNicholas & McNicholas is proud to continue our support of the first responder community by investing in the future of promising individuals and their educational journey.
The UFLAC / McNicholas & McNicholas Education Scholarship will award $12,500 to one eligible student each quarter in 2026. Learn more about eligibility and submission requirements below.
