$1M in Tractor-Trailer Collision Case

McNicholas & McNicholas obtained a $1 million settlement for the family of a man who tragically died when two tractor-trailers sandwiched his car. Both tractor-trailers were traveling in the far-left lane—a vehicle code violation—when the rear trailer’s brakes failed. Neither the rear tractor-trailer driver nor the trucking company had insurance coverage. However, McNicholas & McNicholas successfully collected on the front tractor-trailer company’s policy by arguing that the driver should not have been traveling in the left lane.
