Matthew McNicholas and Patrick McNicholas Named to Los Angeles Business Journal’s 2026 LA500 List
Partners Matthew McNicholas and Patrick McNicholas have once again been named to the Los Angeles Business Journal’s LA500 list, which recognizes the most influential leaders in the Greater Los Angeles region.
Matthew’s profile highlights his success in securing more than $150 million in settlements for law enforcement officers and firefighters, work that prompted the Los Angeles Police Department and the Los Angeles Fire Department to update their procedures, establishing him as a leading advocate for first responders.
Patrick’s write-up includes his role in representing more than 12,000 wildfire victims across nearly 20 catastrophic fires, securing over $14 billion in recoveries from utility companies, and litigating to directly compel utilities to implement critical fire-prevention measures, as well as serving on the legal team that secured a $4 billion settlement from L.A. County on behalf of thousands of sexual abuse survivors.
