Retaliation Lawsuit
McNicholas & McNicholas secured a $1.65 million settlement on behalf of a Los Angeles County-employed psychologist who was retaliated and discriminated against for reporting due process violations against inmates at Twin Towers Correctional Facility. The Plaintiff, Dr. Sara Hough, also was subjected to retaliation for reporting discriminatory comments made by her subordinates about her ethnicity, national origin, race and religion. Dr. Hough was subjected to multiple frivolous investigations and placed on administrative leave for nearly three years, derailing her career and limiting her income potential.
